I'm Yuki, the bookkeeper behind Lume.

I started this business to support solo business owners who are doing everything themselves — including the bookkeeping they’d rather not deal with.

Growing up, I watched my mom build her own business from the ground up. I saw the long hours, the dedication, and the care she put into her work. That experience gave me a deep respect for entrepreneurs — especially those who are building something on their own. It also showed me how valuable it is to have someone in your corner handling the details so you can focus on what you do best.

My background is in neuroscience and accounting. I’ve always been analytical, organized, and someone who actually enjoys working with numbers. Bookkeeping lets me combine those skills in a way that helps people, and that’s what’s at the heart of my work— helping others achieve their financial and business goals.

I offer clear, competent support with the basics: monthly bookkeeping, clean-up jobs, and Schedule C help for solo business owners.
